Pearl Wattanakul, Ph.D.
Pearl Wattanakul received a B.A.(English), Second Class Honors from Payap University, Master
of Arts in Teaching English from Kasetsart University and completed her Ph.D. in Linguistics
from the University of the Philippines. She teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses.
At present she is a Head at the TESOL Department at Payap University, a thesis supervisor
and instructor of TEFL/TESOL graduate students at Payap University and other Universities.
Moreover, she is a teacher trainer in different EFL/ESL programs offered for English teachers
in local and regional areas. Her professional interests include ESP, technology in TEFL,
student-centered learning, learner autonomy, service learning, and testing.

Jonathan Leather, Ph.D.
Dr. Leather took his degrees at the universities of Wales (B.A.), Lancaster (M.A.) and London (Ph.D), and has taught English, trained English teachers, and has developed English programs in
France, Ethiopia, Tunisia, Britain and the Netherlands. His research interests and publications are mostly in the fields of second-language speech and ecological approaches to the study of language
acquisition.

Philip Keay, M.A., Dip. ELT
Philip Keay took his Master's in English Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics at the University of London, and has lived and taught in Thailand since 1991. He has designed and delivered a
range of English programs for undergraduates, MBA students, and working adults, and has written extensive English teaching and learning materials for business and academic learners. His areas of
special interest are learner beliefs and motivation, and professional development for language teachers.

David Richards, M.Phil.
David Richards holds Masters degrees from three countries:
an M.A. in TESOL from Australia, an M-ès-L in French Applied Linguistics from France, and an M.Phil. in Applied Linguistics from the UK. He has taught English to adults,
trained teachers, developed curricula, managed English programs and teachers' centres and provided consultancy
services to government ministries, educational institutions and publishers in these countries, as well as in Thailand, Singapore, China, Indonesia and Kuwait. He has a long record of leadership in professional associations, most recently as President of the Association for TESOL in New South Wales, Australia.
