Payap University offers TESOL education and development services to institutions and professional groups. These services include intensive training and professional development programs in TESOL, course and materials design in English for Specific Purposes (ESP), and on-site collaboration with local teachers to deliver English learning activities in schools.

An Advanced Certificate program has been developed to meet the professional development needs of experienced teachers who wish to further their expertise in TESOL. This program covers four broad areas of TESOL theory and practice, with a curriculum tailored to particular group requirements.

Payap supports English teaching in local schools by working together with teachers to organize innovative learning activities. In February 2007 Payap MA students and faculty were again invited to plan and teach an 'English Day' at Chiang Kham Primary School in Payao province.
